Mulkey Engineers & Consultants Makes Key Hire
David Shearer
 
RALEIGH, NC —  Mulkey Engineers & Consultants is pleased to announce that David Shearer has joined the Jacksonville, FL, office. David comes to Mulkey with 12 years of experience in overall project management and design of transportation related projects.
As the transportation services manager, Shearer will be responsible for overseeing the transportation operations for the Jacksonville office and will manage major transportation projects in the North Florida region. He will also be involved in business development strategies as the firm has plans to grow throughout the state in the next several years.
“David is a wonderful asset for our company. Along with his experience, he brings a problem solver attitude and a vast array of knowledge about the Florida transportation market. It is with great excitement that we welcome him to our Jacksonville office,” says Lisa Robert, principal and director of Florida operations.
Shearer received his bachelor of science degree in civil engineering with honors from the University of Florida. He is a registered professional engineer with the state of Florida and has worked on a wide variety of transportation projects throughout the state.
